Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding doesn’t get rid of weeds. weeds can grow due to low quality top soil and/or spread from neighboring properties. It is the property owner’s responsibility to properly care and fertilize their new lawn to ensure top quality results. Hiring a landscape professional to care for your new lawn is highly recommended.

Are you fed up with weeds that ruin your property’s grass and its roots but can’t seem to find the right solution to get rid of them?

Our hydroseeding process utilizes modern techniques and advanced scientific methods to form the ideal growth conditions for the grass, resulting in much better root development in a shorter time span and reducing the likelihood of weeds invading your lawn.

At Silver Ridge Hydroseeding, we provide up-to-the-mark hydroseeding services to promote healthy lawn turf care and growth in commercial and residential facilities. As a commercial hydroseeding company, our process considers all factors. Our team can prepare your yard before applying the product if needed. As soon as the preparations are complete, we customize seed, fertilizer, hydromulch, tackifier, and water blends to suit your yard and your existing lawn.

Site Preparation

Silver Ridge can provide site preparation, but recommends having the site fully prepared by a third party prior to Hydroseeding.

Soil preparation directly affects the health and appearance of your lawn for years to come. The surface needs to be loosely raked and free from existing vegetation for the hydroseed mix to be applied.

At Sliver Ridge Hydroseeding, we provide a site preparation service to prepare the soil before Hydroseeding properly. An adequately prepared soil surface promotes better seed penetration, resulting in healthier, thicker lawns.

At Sliver Ridge Hydroseeding, our site preparation service includes hand-raking that is needed in areas where machinery cannot reach, such as around trees and decks.

Standard Erosion Control

Soil erosion significantly impacts valuable water resources, including water used for drinking, navigation, recreation, and irrigation. Preventing soil erosion is the best and most practical way to combat it.

The team at Sliver Ridge Hydroseeding works closely with each client to achieve their ideal results and provide erosion control services. We aim to protect the environment and our client’s land by controlling and preventing water erosion in agriculture, land development, river banks, and construction sites.

Steep Slope Control

Very steep slopes cannot be seeded by Hydroseeding alone. A bonded fiber matrix or hydraulic mulch is required to stick the hydroseed to steep slopes and provide a substrate for initial growth.

The bonded fiber matrix is an engineered wood fiber mulch reinforced once cured with polyacrylamides, guar gum, and synthetic fibers.

Sliver Ridge Hydroseeding’s steep slope operations consist of multiple phases. Initially, a slope-specific assessment is conducted, followed by developing a safe work plan for the slope(s). Where others create a safe work plan, our team of professionals reviews the project’s accuracy to ensure it contains all the necessary elements.
